Who We Are

Our mission statement, our collection make-up.

The Homer Public Library system is located at 141 W. Main St. in Homer, MI on the southeast corner of the traffic circle. The Homer Public Library provides free services to everyone who enters our doors.

The library holds over 28,000 items including books, magazines, books on CD, and DVDs.  We also provide access to e-books through our subscription to Overdrive.

In total, over 32,000 items were checked out of the library during the year 2016. In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet, enjoy Wi-Fi, discover and utilize Overdrive, which allows access to ebooks, epub and audiobooks, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
