Who We Are

Our mission statement, our collection make-up.

The Homer Public Library system is located at 141 W. Main St. in Homer, MI on the southeast corner of the traffic circle. The Homer Public Library provides a variety of services to all of our visitors. These services include coyping, faxing and notary service.

The library holds over 28,000 items including books, magazines, books on CD, and DVDs.  We also provide access to e-books through our subscription to Overdrive.

In total, 34,986 items were checked out of the library during the year 2017. In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, make use of our copy services, send or receive a fax, have a document notarized, access the Internet, enjoy Wi-Fi, discover and utilize Overdrive, which allows access to ebooks, epub and audiobooks, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
