Who We Are

Our mission statement, our collection make-up.

The Homer Public Library system is located at 141 W. Main St. in Homer, MI on the southeast corner of the traffic circle. The Homer Public Library provides a variety of services to all of our visitors. These services include copying, faxing and notary service. 

The library holds over 28,000 items including books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs and much more. The library is offering T-Mobile Hot Spots to our patrons for internet access at home. Please check with the library on how this service works  We also provide access to e-books and audiobooks through the Libby app.

In total, 17,938 items were checked out of the library during the year 2024. In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, make use of our copy services, send or receive a fax, have a document notarized, access the Internet, enjoy Wi-Fi, discover and utilize the Libby App, which allows access to e-books, audiobooks and now magazines, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
