Join us at 10:30 am for a small snack and a couple of stories.

Join us for our summer reading sign-up party! We'll have food, face-painting, games and activities, and sign-up sheets to get you ready to read all summer!

We're kicking off summer reading with our first event! Join us to watch a presentation by the Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary and get to see REAL alligators, right in our library!

All ages are welcome to join in our super fun art projects!

Join us after school to read our Kid Zone Book Club book, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. We'll have coloring pages available to keep your hands busy while you listen!

Join us for kid-centered activities after school. Sometimes we paint, sometimes we play board games, but we always have a lot of fun!

Join our book club! This month they will be reading and discussing the book, "Don't Believe It" by Charlie Donlea.

This program is available to Calhoun County residents age 60 and older.

Open to pre-school and homeschool children. Join us for a story, dancing, playing, and other activities and crafts. We'll also provide snacks!

Pop in for Saturday morning cartoons and snacks. Some of our favorites are Bluey, Little Einsteins, Octonauts, Curious George, Clifford, Blue's Clues, Bob the Builder, and Dora the Explorer!

Join us for sneak peeks of tween and teen chapter books that you might not have heard of before! (e.g. Zoey and Sassafras by Asia Citro).

Pre-schoolers and homeschoolers encouraged, all ages are welcome!

Various fun and educational activities to help us explore and interact with our friends. For pre-school and homeschool children.

Need a quick lunch option? Homer Community Schools offers lunch boxes right outside of our library! We have picnic tables by the back door if you want to enjoy the outside weather, or we have tables inside if you'd like to enjoy the air conditioning. Staff will also read a story with lunch, both inside and out!

Stop in and meet Michigan author Jean Davis from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Jean will be selling and signing books, and at 4:00 pm will run a presentation on writing and illustrating a children's book, chickens, and more! Stay after the presentation to talk more with Jean and enjoy some light refreshments. Jean will also be at the Turkeyville Renaissance Festival on the 10th and 11th, with free admission, so stop over there and say hi again!

Join Mike the Snake Man as he shows off a lot of different snakes and talks about how important they are for their environment! We have limited spots available, so call or visit the circulation desk to reserve your spot. Shows are at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm

Join us as the Sigma Nature Conservation Center gives a presentation with their animals!

Join us for science, technology, engineering, art, and math related activities! We'll be making potions and robot hands, splitting light and breaking geodes, and experimenting with chlorophyll and spinning paper snakes.

Join us in the meeting room at the back of the library to watch a family friendly movie and enjoy some popcorn. We'll share the title of the movie, a description, and a link to the movie trailer on our Facebook page every Friday.

Come play, learn, make music, and have fun with friends at play group! We'll have activities and crafts, dancing, snacks, and stories galore.

There's so much to do and learn in our art time programs! We'll be learning about pigments during cave painting, art history while we upcycle thrifted paintings, and how to be our most creative selves.

Do you like painting rocks? Don't know if you'd like painting rocks? Think you'd be bad at painting rocks but willing to try? Then you'd fit right in at our rock painting class with Ms. Nancy! This event is recommended for friends aged 9 and up. RSVP to reserve your spot!
