Homer Public Library

Library Services

Everything we do for you, at the library

Circulation Services

We offer print materials in the forms of books, magazines and newspapers.  We also offer books on CD.  We have movies available on DVD.  Most materials are checked out for two weeks and most everything can be renewed either in person or over the phone.  The things that cannot be renewed are our new arrivals, items that have reserves or lists for them and the DVDs, which you are limited to 10.  We have a drop box on the Main street side of the building where you can drop off your library materials when we are not open.  Fines are 5 cents per day per item with a one day grace period given.  Anyone owing any fines will not be allowed to borrow anything from the Homer Public Library or anything from Interlibrary Loan until the fine has been paid.

Youth and Teen Services

We have storytime every Saturday at 10:00am here in the library.
If you have suggestions for a teen book club or a teen advisory committee, please let us know.  We would be glad to help out in any way we can.
